Day 12 Dinner Debriefing

Decided two nice dinners in a row was our limit, and went looking for something more economical. We heard they make a good Margarita at El Farolito, so we went there. Perhaps they do make a good Margarita, I saw one that looked good, and they did have about fifty kinds of tequila. As far as food goes, though, it was a disappointment. Caroline and I both ordered Super Burritos, because when I ordered one in Rogue River it came topped with shredded lettuce and tomatoes and sour cream. Here it just comes with some plain lettuce and tomatoes on the side, no dressing, no sour cream. Pinned our hopes on the pastel tres leches, which is one of my all time favourite desserts, but they didn’t have any. Slunk home. Picked up a piece of carrot cake and a slice of lemon meringue pie at Adel’s, the restaurant closest to the hotel. The carrot cake was good, kind of caramelly, the lemon pie was a bit too sweet.
