Dinner Debriefing: Pirogue again

We treated ourselves to a four course meal to mark the closing days of our vacation. Some of the things we ordered were daily specials, so you won’t find everything on the menu
It went like this:

Caroline:                                                   
Tomato Tart with Mozzarella & basil                  
Mixed greens salad with goat-cheese stuffed figs             
Rabbit Gnocchi (from the appetizer menu)        
June-berry pie (like Saskatoons) with vanilla ice-cream
                                                   
Tim:                                                                        
Celery & Parsnip soup (served cold)
Caesar salad
Striped Bass with Poblano/corn salsa 
Angel Food cake with berry compote
French Press organic Peruvian decaf

Chateau Ste. Michelle Indian Wells Chardonnay
 
Particular highlights were the tomato tart (she wants it again for breakfast!) the Caesar salad and the bass. Oh, and the coffee – I rarely have coffee in the evening because most decaf isn’t worth it. This one is. It was a great dinner.
